I felt I had to write a review because these guys are so good. Sensible home remodeling Took the time to carefully go over everything that I needed before the project started. Colors and many samples were looked at before we got started. My home today gets so many compliments because of the professional job that was performed at my place. working with Jeremy was easy as he is truly an artist and very detailed and Hemi did an awesome job on the garage doors. These guys are good. His prices are certainly a lot better than the many contractors I talked to. Do yourself a favor and dont start a home remodeling without talking with them

Typically I can’t be bothered writing reviews for products or services, regardless of the quality. Occasionally I am motivated to write a negative review when something falls way short of expectations. This review, is the opposite. I feel motivated to write a positive review, because my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the work done by Jeremy and Sensible Home Products. In a few words, Jeremy and his crew are detail oriented and re-made the outside of our home on all four sides. We couldn’t be more pleased.

We hired Jeremy to complete a huge project on our home. He re-sided our entire house with high-quality, Prodigy solid core, insulated-siding, installed two amazing carriage-style, garage doors with beautiful goose-neck lighting, and replaced over half of our windows with Marvin Elevates. From beginning to end, we interacted with Jeremy for nearly an entire year! Jeremy communicated with us, both in-person, and over the phone, for months before the project even began. Once the project started, the crew was extremely time-efficient.

I wouldn’t say we were difficult customers, but just like Jeremy (and his crew), we all had high expectations for the finished product, and wanted every detail to be perfect. Jeremy’s own level of accountability for his business, his craftsmanship and his reputation, comforted us throughout the project, giving us the confidence that we needed to pull off a complete outside overhaul of our dream home.

Let’s talk about Jeremy’s crew. Hard-working, polite and oh so neat! They left our property each and every day super clean and orderly. They were efficient and just great people. We trusted them – both in terms of their work – but also in terms of leaving our property and home unattended with them inside and outside.

All in all, because I could go on and on, Jeremy delivered on all that he promised and more. He has exceptional vision and helped us spend our money on the right things. Because he has so much experience transforming homes, he has the ability to see the finished product before the work begins – I highly recommend that you pay close attention to his advice. Jeremy certainly knows what works, while also understanding, at the end of the day, it is your home and you need to be happy as well.

We give Jeremy, his crew and Sensible Home Products our highest rating and recommendation. Would have him back at our property without hesitation, but, with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship, we don’t anticipate needing any work done for decades!

Having had Jeremy redo our entire house after a tree fell on it last year, and having no less than a 5 star experience, we enlisted his expertise again to replace our deck and do stone steps for our front door. He did not disappoint. Jeremy’s attention to detail is unparalleled. He listens to the customer. Really listens! And he will do whatever he can to not only ensure that you get what you have envisioned, but that it is done expertly.

Oscar, the mason that did our front steps, was incredible. He was in constant contact with Jeremy making sure that we were happy with the finished product. Although we didn’t think it was possible for him to exceed our expectations after seeing his prior work, he did indeed do just that.

Sensible Home Products gave us a home that we are beyond proud of. We have neighbors stopping us constantly to tell us how beautiful our “new” home is. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeremy and his company. Don’t hesitate! Just call him, and let him help you make your home the most desirable home in your neighborhood.

I had Jeremy’s crew side my house and put in 20 double hung windows and a garden window.

The work is excellent, particularly the trim work around the windows/doors and difficult areas ( like where the power comes in). The crew was polite, clean and very organized. They clean up every night and were able to work around my families schedule, they even were able to put in the windows in a single long day so as to keep the disruption to a minimum.

The crew was responsive and asked several times how I preferred something before proceeding. Jeremy checks in frequently and either picks up when you call or calls back in a couple of minutes, excellent communication.

I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth and painless the job was. I have never had a contractor handle a job better.

The house looks great and i will definitely look to Jeremy for the next job.

Short version – Sensible Home Products has done a phenomenal job on our home. We are so glad we found Jeremy and his high rating is definitely deserved. We had a roof, vinyl siding, door/window trim, a few windows, garage doors, and garage trim all completed by his team in quick order. I was very impressed with the crew’s professionalism and attention to detail. The work was completed quickly and afterwards there was no debris left to pick up. In fact, the dumpster was out of the driveway 30 minutes after the job was complete. Nice touch J.

Long version – My neighborhood was hit with a freak hailstorm in Mid-May 2018. Tennis ball sized hail did a number to my house and every other house in a 2 mile radius. The very next day, the construction equivalent of ambulance chasers from all over the country converged and promised homeowners to fix it right. Big fancy trucks, matching uniforms, glossy pamphlets. Naturally suspicious of the convenience that they were selling I held off and met with local contractors and finally Jeremy (because of the high ratings). I am sure glad I waited. He laid everything out for me, showed me the quality of is work, suggested a few improvements within my budget and got right to work for us. Besides the quality of work I witnessed in pictures what really struck a chord with me was that his crew has been with him for years. It shows a lot of character in the construction business to have a crew work that many years for one general contractor. I could tell he cared about taking care of his crews and doing right by the customer.

Fast forward 2 week before construction was to start and we had buyer’s remorse on the color choice for the home. I still feel bad but Jeremy really went to bat for us on siding already custom made for our job and got it switched to a different color. It wasn’t without some hardship so please, if you do decide on a color, stick to it. I’m not sure Jeremy could take another last minute change of that magnitude.

Construction begins in early November. The construction crew shows up on time every day the weather permitted and even some days when it didn’t. They had many, many windows and doors that required trimming out and, if there’s one thing Jeremy takes greatest pride in, it’s the trim work. There was one gentleman bending metal full time each and every day on the job and I continue to be amazed at the quality of their work. Whereas most aluminum trim is flat, they actually made several bends in the metal to give it depth and pop out more. Additionally, we ponied up for the Azek trim around the garage doors and wow! what a difference. I get compliments daily on how great the doors and trim look. As a consequence of having such a great looking house with everything so well put together I now see other homes differently. You never recognize the poor craftsmanship and cut corners until you see great craftsmanship. I thought my house looked good and that’s why I bought it a few years ago. With the new siding/roof it made me realize how old and tired the house was.

One last feather in Jeremy’s cap is that he is a great communicator. There may not have been a day over the past month that I haven’t spoken with him about the project. In comparison, my neighbor sent a large check to another contractor and has not been able to reach him for the past few weeks.

In summary, the hailstorm was the worst/best thing to happen to this house and Sensible Home Products really went above and beyond in every facet of this construction project. Cheers Jeremy, great job.

Jeremy and his team were by far, the best we could’ve ever worked with for our roofing project! He had done our siding a little while back with the utmost professionalism and the quality was impeccable. It was a no-brainer for us to call him back for the roof and just as he did in the past, he and his team handled our project as if it were their own home.

In the current environment with contractors being delayed due to labor shortages, supply issues, etc. he was still willing to help us out on short notice. We have an old home with multiple angles, dormers, skylights and his team was still able to get the work done quickly with no mess at all.

At the end of the day, Jeremy brings top quality, honesty and integrity to the job. If he sees an issue, he let’s you know and will be sure to address it. No corners cut, no leaving underlying issues alone just because they’re not part of the scope of the project. Again, they treat the home as if it’s their own.

We Could not be happier with Sensible Home Products! From start to finish Jeremy and his team were excellent to work with. Jeremy was in constant communication with us through the process, explained thoroughly everything about the products used and how the job would be done.

His team arrived promptly the morning of and got straight to work installing our new roof.
Jeremy was on site during the install and explained the issues they found with our previous roof and exactly how they would be fixed and addressed.

The whole house was draped and kept clean of debris. By the time they finished in the evening you wouldn’t have even know they were there! We were so impressed by how well they cleaned up. Truly the Best experience I’ve had with a home contractor. And the price was extremely fair and competitive. I would recommend them a million times over!

Let’s start with this… our house has been transformed into a work of art. We went from a house where everything that could possibly be painted, was painted blue, to a house with amazing contrast. We changed just about everything on the exterior of the house (siding, windows, doors & garage doors), making the before and after about as dramatic as it could possibly be. So much so, that people stop and take pictures, and that’s not a joke. We can’t thank the owner Jeremy enough for all of his hard-work because the finished product is simply amazing.

The existing cedar shake siding was replaced with vinyl shake all around. We also went with mitered corners, which was a decision that Jeremy had encouraged. At the end of the project, we realized that he was 100% right about that. The decision about the siding color was a breeze. We had an idea about the color we wanted, and Jeremy mentioned that a brand new color was coming out soon and we should take a look before deciding. When we met with him the next day, he had already called the company and had a sample overnighted for us to see. Sure enough, this was exactly what we were looking for.

We decided to replace the windows, mostly because of the inefficiency of the original single-pane windows. We went with Harvey Tribute’s and we love the classic look and design. Jeremy suggested this series over other options we were considering, and again, he was right about that. Also, the custom window trim that his guys made on the job site, are really nice. Jeremy explained how they wrap the windows to create the channel for the siding, which leaves it with a really clean look.

The two front doors that we picked are what make our house really stand out. We knew we wanted a craftsman style door, but were a little apprehensive about going with a bold color. Jeremy suggested that we go for it. We went with the “persimmon” red color, and it was the best decision we made for the whole project. Yes they are bold, but still tasteful to go with our colonial house. We also had his guys custom-build the door surround, which really gives it a great contrast against the “cast-iron” color siding.

The garage doors, originally also blue, were replaced with white carriage style doors and custom-built azek surrounds. This was mostly Jeremy’s vision, and WOW, they look ridiculously good!!!

As the project was being planned, we decided to have Jeremy convert our sunroom into a more usable space. Jeremy’s ideas were exactly what we had envisioned. We now have a beautiful room that has turned into a kid’s playroom.
Our choice to have Jeremy do the work will never be second-guessed. He made the process for us as relaxing as possible. Every time that we had a question before and during the job, I knew that if I texted or called Jeremy, I would get a quick response. During the project, our girls (2 and 5 years old) would wake up and ask when “the boys” are coming. Jeremy’s crew was always on time and ready to work! When we left in the morning, our girls would have to go see “the boys” and make sure they said bye.

The best part about choosing Sensible Home Products is that even though Jeremy was just a contractor that I figured would come do the job and go on his way, he has become a friend.

I will say this… we had some cheaper quotes and some that were so high they were laughable. At the end of the day, we went with Jeremy because he was the most honest with what he was going to do. The other guys wanted to cut some corners and use cheaper materials, even ones that were going to cost more. We just felt comfortable knowing exactly what we were getting. I would tell everyone who is looking for siding, windows and doors to go with Sensible Home Products. It sounds a little silly, but they really did make our dream come true.

I wish there was a grade higher than A that we could give. Jeremy from Sensible Home Products is the best and his work product is even better. If you are looking for a contractor who pours his heart and passion into every project, you must hire him. We chose him after interviewing four different companies and we immediately recognized the X factor with him; he has it. His presentation included his previous projects and they are nothing short of outstanding. Besides his work product, his reputation precedes him. After hiring him I have come to meet others who also heard about his work. All of my neighbors have commented on our house and I could not be happier. We allowed his creative talent to suggest colors and options and we are glad for it. His trim work is hands down the best in the state. No one else even compares. It’s difficult to compare his prices with other companies because that would be similar to comparing a pinto to a Mercedes. He only uses top of the line siding with insulated backing, longer pieces which show less seams and have a bigger reveal. He truly uses a classy product and it shows. It was worth every penny and I have no reservations about recommending him to my friends and family. If you don’t want to take my word for it, just read all the other reviews and you will see a pattern: it is a excellent company. He was also easy to work with. Many times people argue with their contractors. I had the opposite experience. We actually became friends and keep in touch with him regularly. I know you will have the same experience.

Our house looks absolutely amazing thanks to Jeremy and his company, Sensible Home Products. They turned our old outdated 1950s ranch into a work of art. From the moment we met Jeremy we instantly felt at ease and knew he was a man of integrity, with a clear vision of what our house could be transformed into. We were so confident in him that we decided to give him the green light to completely design the entire exterior of our home, which included all new siding, windows, new front doors, garage doors, custom Azek trim and all new recessed lighting. Jeremy listened to our needs and his ideas were better than we could have ever envisioned. Even though we knew Jeremy had multiple jobs going on at once, he made us feel as if we were his number one priority every day for the length of the entire project. Not a day went by that Jeremy didn’t check in with us about the progress, and he promptly and efficiently addressed any problems that came up such as the massive termite damage that had been hidden under our old siding. As our project progressed we noticed Jeremy started making changes that made it obvious to us that he truly cared about delivering the best product and clearly demonstrated his passion for what he does. He took our house from what it was and transformed it into one of the most beautiful houses on our street. Jeremy takes an incredible amount of pride in everything he does. In our experience he honestly cares about his customers and built his business on the idea of always delivering a quality product at a fair price and exceeding all expectations.
